Joe Widjaja

Senior Designer, Sovereign Asset Management Inc.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts from the School of Interior Design at Ryerson University. He began his career as a Junior Designer at International Design Group (IDG) and was promoted to Intermediate Designer producing designs and architectural drawings for L.C.B.O. stores throughout Ontario and for multi-plex theatres in China. 

 

While working at Cecconi Simone, Joe won a Silver award for designing the American Standard Exhibition Booth during the Interior Design Show in Toronto. Joe advanced from intermediate to senior designer at B+H Architects. He became team lead of various design teams, responsible for the drawings, administration and site supervision of various residential projects.

 

In 2008, Joe took on the position of Senior Designer at Sovereign Asset Management (SAM). He works with engineers and architects in designing new buildings for internal and external clients. Over the years, he has developed working relationships with clients, providing building and site plan concepts for their various projects while being accommodating for their specific requirements. Joe also work as a planner, develops the site plans for SAM’s new properties while working with consultants to ensure they meet the city’s building requirements
